Meet Annabelle
"I love it when art has a subtle effect—but is still present in the space," says Anabelle, an Amsterdam-based artist whose posters hover somewhere between modern graphics and quiet poetry. Her works are often created in layers: first with paper and pen, then digitally refined—always with an eye for detail.
Annabelle's studio is located in a quiet courtyard in the heart of Amsterdam. Large windows, plenty of light, and a wild garden right outside characterize her working environment. "I need air and movement around me—this influences my forms and colors," she explains.
Her art is inspired by the rhythm of the city, the facades of old buildings, but also by moments of stillness—such as a walk along the water or the late afternoon light. She works with neutral colors, clean lines, and subtle textures. The results are posters that appear both modern and timeless.
Annabelle enjoys experimenting with materials—from canvas to digital prints—but always remains true to her minimalist style. Her posters fit effortlessly into various spaces: stylish, calm, and expressive.
Annabelle's exclusive works are now available through our shop—for anyone who wants to enrich their walls with modern art and a touch of Amsterdam.
