Meet Julien

"I see art as a form of language—it begins where words end," says French artist Julien, whose works are known for their expressive reduction and harmonious color scheme. His poster art is characterized by graphic forms, subtle contrasts, and a palpable calm that invites the viewer to pause.

Julien lives and works in a small studio near Lyon, surrounded by high windows, plants, and a tranquil atmosphere that encourages creativity. "My studio is my sanctuary—a place where I can let my ideas flow with music in the background and a coffee in hand," he says.

Julien is inspired by architecture, fashion, and the quiet moments of everyday life. His works are usually created with ink, acrylic, or digital brushes—often in neutral colors, with clean lines and a touch of French elegance. His goal is always one: to create visual calm in a noisy world.

In addition to his artistic work, Julien is also involved in local projects and occasionally collaborates with designers to bring his art into new contexts – for example, on textiles or in interior design. But his passion remains posters: "A good poster can transform an entire room. It's like a silent statement on the wall."
